Master of International Studies

European students pursuing the double degree in the Master of International Studies at SNU-GSIS must validate 8 courses (24 credits), including a minimum of 3 courses (9 credits) from Practical Courses and a thesis. 

List of required courses:

  • International Economic Relations
  • International Cooperation
  • Research Methodology and Skills or Comparative Methodology (select 1)
  • Understanding the East Asia, International Trade Issues in Comparative Perspective, or Studies in Regional Monetary and Financial Integration (select 1)
  • Dissertation Research

List of electives:

  • At least 3 courses (9 credits) must be taken in the GSIS major program.
